Modern Museum Wedding
We started off January 2020 strong with doing a lovely wedding in downtown Roanoke.
Since relocating to Roanoke, Virginia, I have hoped to do a wedding at the Tuabman Museum.
When Christy contacted me about her wedding, there was no hesitation in saying “yes!'“ Christy and her fiancé have a beautiful love story and after hearing about the groom’s family not being able to attend the wedding in person, I wanted to make sure every floral detail was perfect!
The lovely bride-to-be wanted a classic look, so I only used flowers to create a round bouquet with the hand tied bouquet technique.
I used white peonies, blush roses, white ranunculus, white spray roses, and white calla lilies.
The ceremony’s focal point of two ceremony centerpieces on white, modern pillars led everyone’s eyes to the front of the room where the couple tied the knot.
My favorite part of this wedding are the modern museum artwork that the photographer captured in the bride and groom portraits. If you get married at a museum, it would be a shame to not have all of the modern, classic details flow cohesively in all the details.
